Anna Wilmowska (Poland)

Prof. UR Dr. hab. n. med. Anna Wilmowska-Pietruszyńska is the director of the Institute of Physio-therapy at the Faculty of Health Science, University of Rzeszów. She is chairman of the Board on Non-Autonomous People’s Affairs by the Ministry of Health and advisor of the KRUS (Agricultural Social Insurance Found) Board Chairman. Furthermore, Prof. Wilmowska is the author of the reform on social security pension adjudication.

Ewa Kuriata (Poland)

Ewa Kuriata (2)Ewa Kuriata, PhD, Master of Nursing, has been employed at the Department of Organization and Management Faculty of Health Sciences, Academy of Medical Sciences, Piast Slaskich in Wroclaw since 1984 and is now a senior lecturer. Her domain of scientific interest and area of implementation of teaching are widely understood public health issues, including personnel management aspects of nurses and midwives, as well as quality in health care. Ewa Kuriata is the author of many publications in this field and has the powers of the Medical University overseeing the quality of teaching and research since 2001. Ms. Kuriata is a member of the Polish Nurses Association and the Polish Society of Social Medicine and Public Health, where since 2008, she serves as vice president of the Board of the Regional Branch in Wrocław. Since 2010, she is also a member of the Scientific Council of the quarterly Nursing and Public Health. Ewa Kuriata participates actively in the implementation of postgraduate education of nurses and midwives, the head of the merits of qualification and specialization courses in the field of management.
