Martina Skrabec (2)Martina Škrabec is a registered nurse and teaches nursing at the Secondary School of Nursing in Ljubljana since she holds a certificate in pedagogical skills. She started her professional career on the primary healthcare level. Then Ms. Škrabec continued working at the Clinic of Ophthalmology where she specialised in ophthalmology nursing healthcare. She has experience in working with students in various institutions: Senior Citizens Homes, Clinic for Rheumatology, Hypertension and currently she is working at the Clinic for Traumathology at the University Clinical Centre in Ljubljana. Martina Škrabec has participated in a few international projects such as Erasmus.

Brigita Skela Savič (Slovenia)

Brigita Skela Savic (2)Dr. Brigita Skela Savič is the dean of the College of Nursing Jesenice (CNJ), head of the Research Institute for Health Care and Nursing at the CNJ and the head of the research group Health Care and Nursing CNJ at the Slovenian Re-search Agency. In addition to being a member of research groups involved in inter-institutional Slovenian and international research projects she is re-sponsible for the CNJ development projects financed by the European Social Fund. Dr. Skela Savič is a lecturer at the CNJ in the subjects of research meth-odology, organization, and leadership. She is also a mentor for master's stu-dents at the Faculty of Management Koper, University of Primorska. Her bib-liography in the COBISS system (cooperative online bibliographic system) consists of 238 entries. Brigita Skela Savič is a member of the Slovenian Health Care Board for Nursing at the Ministry of Health and a member of the working group for ensuring and monitoring the implementation of the Action Plan and the Slovenian Palliative Care Programme at the same ministry. As a member of the working group for specialization in Slovenian nursing and a member of the Honorary Court of Arbitration, Dr. Skela Savič is also included in the work of the Nurses and Midwives Association of Slovenia. In 2007, Brigita Skela Savič was awarded the highest recognition of the Nurses and Midwives Associa-tion of Slovenia, the Golden Mark. Since 2010, she has been a member of the international associa-tion 'The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International' and member of Advisory board FINE (European Federation of Nurse Educators).

Miha Okrožnik (Slovenia)

Miha Okrožnik is an orthopedic technologist and has been employed at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana for 27 years. He is a member of the board at Nurses and Midwives Association of Slovenia. Mr. Okrožnik is also a member of the Slovenian professional group of nurses and health technicians in accident and emergency units where he is a team leader for orthopedic technologists.
